The Crowbar is a tool which can be acquired in Barotrauma.

Function

Crowbars can be used to force-open locked doors and hatches, similarly to the Plasma Cutter.

Unlike plasma cutters, crowbars are typically much faster and won't destroy the doors upon opening, but are unable to un-seal doors which are welded shut.

It can also be used as a blunt weapon.

Usage

  • Force-opening doors and hatches - Press the "Use" keybind (E by default) on a door
    • Note: Only doors that the character doesn't have access to can be forced open with a crowbar
  • Attacking - The Crowbar is held with both hands. As with all weapons and tools, using it is done by holding the Right Mouse Right-click to take aim, then by Left Mouse Left-clicking to shoot/use.
