The Riot Shield is a piece of equipment used to block incoming projectiles.
Description
The Riot Shield is a two-handed shield which can be used to block incoming projectiles, much like the Moloch Shell Fragment. It can also be used push around or prevent humans or creatures from passing.
It can be crafted by a 
Security Officer with the 
Pacification Kit talent unlocked, or alternatively can be bought on Outposts with a difficulty of at least 50%.
Function
The Riot Shield is held with both hands and can be aimed using 
Right-click. When not in use it can be stored in the Gear slot, in which case it hangs from the character's back. It has no effect while worn on the back.
- It has 150 health. While held it reduces the player's movement speed by 40%.
- It can only block projectiles and melee attacks from crew, but not creature bites, including from Mudraptor Gene.
