The Advanced Gene Splicer is an equippable item that allows the player to splice Genetic Materials to gain semi-permanent new abilities.

The Advanced Gene Splicer can be crafted by a Medical Doctor with the Genetic Genius Talent. It allows two genetic materials to be spliced simultaneously.

Usage

When equipped in a character's Health Slot (accessible from the health GUI), the effects of any contained genetic material will be applied. Gene splicers can be applied to a player's own character, an npc crewmate, or any incapacitated human.

Removing a splicer will destroy any contained genetic material and cause 10 Organ Damage and 0.5 Stun.
