The Stun Gun is a one-handed ranged weapon. It shoots Stun Darts which can stun targets from a safe distance. The Stun Gun is most commonly used to temporarily incapacitate humans, be that unruly crew members or traitors in order to take any weapons they have and Handcuff them, or creatures to make them easier targets.

It can be crafted by anybody, and bought on many Outposts.

Function

The Stun Gun is held with one hand and must be loaded with Stun Gun Darts or Fulgurium Stun Gun Darts to be used. As with all weapons and tools, using it is done by holding the Right-click to take aim, then by Left-clicking to shoot/use.

The stun gun has a single slot which can contain up to 2 Stun Darts.
Stun Gun Darts inflict Zapped, slowing the victim and stunning after about 2.5s, if hit by at least one dart.
Fulgurium Stun Gun Darts inflict Zapped, stunning the victim almost immediately.
It is a useful weapon for restraining or capturing Humans. After stunning a Human, they can be grabbed and Handcuffs may be used.
