The Diving Mask is a head Gear used to breathe while underwater.
Function
Diving masks allow players to breathe when underwater, however, unlike the Diving Suit it does not protect the player from the water pressure.
Diving masks can prove useful for repairing hull breaches in the event of flooding.
Diving masks can also be useful when extinguishing fires onboard the submarine. Without it, the submariner may risk injuries from poor air quality in the burning room.
In order for the mask to function, an Oxygen Tank must be placed inside. Alternatively, one can use an Oxygenite Shard which provides 50% more air than the Oxygen Tank. Equipping a Welding Fuel Tank inside the mask will cause the player to asphyxiate, at first the person will quickly go unconscious and start dying, at 50% health the damage slows down gradually.
You can also use the Diving Mask to disguise yourself by taking off or putting on another player's ID Card while wearing it.
