The Security Gear is a set of hard wearing clothes that can be acquired in Barotrauma. It is given to the Security Officer by default and it consists of two different pieces of clothing: the Body Armor and the Ballistic Helmet.
Description
The Body Armor and Ballistic Helmet are mostly black, although the Body Armor possesses a yellow stripe across the bottom of what appears to be a pauldron of sorts, and the leggings do not appear to possess any protection. The helmet is shaped in such a fashion as to protect the back and sides of the wearer's head, while not obstructing vision or breathing.
Function
The Security Gear provides a character with protection against multiple causes of injury such as spears and creature attacks.
When wearing both the Body Armor and Ballistic Helmet the armor value of the player becomes 30.
