Gear are items that can be worn by a human in the Card, Headset, Innerwear or Outerwear slots. They have various uses, some providing protection, and others for utility.

Wearing gear is the primary method of protection from harm. It can also be temporarily boosted by ingesting Chemicals.

Outerwear

The Outerwear slot is for bulky items: Diving Gear, Body Armor, and the Moloch Shell Fragment. They provide strong protection from harm.

Innerwear

The Innerwear slot is for regular clothing that all classes start with. They provide nominal protection from harm.

Not wearing innerwear grants 50% Laceration, 50% Gunshot, and 50% Blunt Trauma resistances

Head

The Head slot is for diving masks, hats, and Health HUD scanner.
