The Fire Extinguisher is a tool that can be acquired in Barotrauma.
Function
The fire extinguisher's main function, as its name indicates, is to extinguish fires.
While in use the fire extinguishers condition will slowly decade, the current condition of it is displayed in the player's hotbar. Once depleted, it can be scrapped as there is no way to refill it.
