The Wrench is a tool that can be acquired in Barotrauma.
Function
The wrench's primary function is to perform mechanical repairs on installations which are in need of them.
They can also be used to detach certain devices from walls or installations - an example of this is removing electrical components which have been attached to installations or buttons that are attached to walls.
Crew members are capable of using wrenches as a melee weapon. However, it only inflicts minimal damage.
Usage
When the character has the appropriate skill level, pressing E on the installation which needs to be repaired will start fixing it.
Pressing left-click (mouse1) on an attached item will start detaching it, this is displayed with a bar on the item, it will slowly get filled up until the item is detached from the wall.
