Function

The Rapid Fissile Accelerator functions as a large, two-handed weapon. When the trigger is held, the weapon will charge up and then fire a beam after a delay of 0.75 seconds, using various Fuel Rods as ammunition. The Rapid Fissile Accelerator is incredibly precise (for Characters with 25 or higher Weapon Skill) and powerful, capable of reasonably dealing with anything the size of a Mudraptor Veteran or smaller with ease at far ranges.

It cannot be bought and must be crafted by an Engineer with the Nuclear Option unlocked.

Due to the Rapid Fissile Accelerator's size, it cannot be carried in the hotbar. It can only be held with both hands, or in the Gear slot, which hangs it from the Character's back.

Usage

The Rapid Fissile Accelerator is held with both hands and must be loaded with a Fuel Rod, Thorium Fuel Rod, Fulgurium Fuel Rod, or Volatile Fulgurium Fuel Rod to be used. As with all weapons and tools, using it is done by holding the Right Mouse Right-click to take aim, then by Left Mouse Left-clicking to shoot/use.
