The Handcannon is a two-handed long-range small firearm, meaning it can be stored in the inventory. It packs a punch and is a substantial upgrade over its smaller, less powerful cousin, the Revolver. The Handcannon is most useful at quickly dispatching the smaller to medium-sized denizens of Europa, such as Husks, Crawlers, Mudraptors, and even the fierce Mudraptor Veteran. Making this possible is the humongous, .61 caliber Handcannon Round, with a 50% armor penetration and 100% severance chance.

It can be crafted by a Captain with the Big Guns talent, it cannot be bough at Outposts.

Function

The Handcannon is held with both hands and must be loaded with Handcannon Rounds to be used. As with all weapons and tools, using it is done by holding the Right Mouse Right-click to take aim, then by Left Mouse Left-clicking to shoot/use.

  • Like every two-handed weapon, the Handcannon has a Flashlight slot. The insterted Flashlight automatically turns on whenever the weapon is aimed.
