Description
Depleted Fuel SMG Magazines are a special type of ammunition for the SMG, Machine Pistol and Deadeye Carbine. They apply Radiation Sickness on hit and have greatly increased armor penetration in comparison to standard SMG Magazines. Notably, the Radiation Sickness is only applied if the targets' current Radiation Sickness is lower than 30%. They can only be crafted by an Engineer with the Arms Race talent.
Function
Their rounds cause moderate amounts of Gunshot Wounds and low amounts of Bleeding and Radiation Sickness. Additionally they have a moderate amount of armor penetration.
The damage, compared to regular SMG magazines, is 20% greater (15 vs 12.5) against unarmored targets. The advantage increases against armored targets, though the exact increase depends on the armor, and on the weapon used.
