Function
The Flak Cannon is designed to handle large swarms of hostile creatures. It's characterized by its low rate of fire and high damage proximity triggered shells.
Usage
Like other Turrets, Periscopes are typically used to aim and fire Flak Cannons. Firing Flak Cannons draws power from connected Supercapacitors, as well as ammunition from linked Loaders.
Ammunition
There are 4 types of Flak Cannon ammunition:
Explosive: Base ammo.
Focused: Has a tighter spread for focusing far-away enemies or tight groups.
Spreader: Used against swarms in order to spread out the shots and damage as many as possible.
Physicorium: good all-rounder against unarmored targets, has almost twice the standard damage.
