Explosive Flak Shells Boxes are Flak Cannon ammunition.
Mechanics
When loaded into a Flak Cannon shots spawn a projectile that detonates on proximity. When a creature is detected within 2m the shell detonates, spawning 16 pieces of explosive shrapnel in a 135° cone, and dealing minor damage in a small area.
Should the shell impact directly despite the proximity fuse, it will deal Deep Tissue Injury (70)*, Bleeding (20)*, and Stun (4)* – or 30 damage if hitting a structure. The shrapnel explosions deal Deep Tissue Injury (60)*, and 25 structure damage. If the explosive shrapnel impacts a target it will deal Deep Tissue Injury (3)* Bleeding (0.5)*, and Stun (0.75s)*.
It is important to note that the 352 Lacerations damage is the combined damage from each individual piece of shrapnel, not the total laceration damage of a single shot.
