–In-game description |
Nuclear Shells are Railgun ammunition. They can be loaded with items, most notably with explosives.
Description
Nuclear Shells are high-risk high-damage projectiles mainly used to fight the biggest enemies, including submarines, and tight groups of smaller enemies. Their explosion range is only 10-meters wide, but they currently have the second highest alpha damage of all ammunition, very close to Physicorium Shells. What makes them highly dangerous is their 30-meter EMP range, which can burn out the whole electrical grid of the shooting submarine, unless the gunner is extra careful. This effect makes the Nuclear Shell incredibly powerful against enemy submarines.
Nuclear shells can be cost-efficient if the crew are low on Steel but have an excess of IC-4 Block components and Uranium.
