=Effects=
Ethanol is a drink that applies a small amount of [[Drunk|drunkenness]], for the benefit of resistance to some mental effects. Alternatively, it may be applied directly to limbs to treat [[Infected Wound]]s.
 
The drunkenness effects are not dangerous from drinking one or two bottles, however even mild levels can cause [[Nausea]] and slowed movement. Drinking several in quick succession is not advised, as high [[Drunk|Drunkenness]] can knock out a human. 5 or more doses is usually enough to knock someone out or bring them close to unconsciousness, and while the Drunk affliction cannot reduce vitality any further than -100, being unconscious can lead to dying by [[Oxygen Low|Oxygen deprivation]].
 
The negative effects of drunkenness can be safely ignored by captains with the [[Drunken Sailor]] talent, since this talent removes the vitality, movement speed, and nausea effects of drunkenness.
 
As a disinfectant, it treats a small amount, and is most suitable for preventing mild infections from getting worse. The Burn damage is negligible, and will be fully healed in 20 seconds.

Effects

Ethanol is a drink that applies a small amount of drunkenness, for the benefit of resistance to some mental effects. Alternatively, it may be applied directly to limbs to treat Infected Wounds.
