When applied, it will reduce the affliction strength by 90 over a period of 15 seconds, which translates into a maximum of roughly 180 vitality for a character with 100 max vitality. It treats Bloodloss 75% as effectively as Blood Packs.

It additionally causes Psychosis as a side-effect.

Bloodloss is caused by the Bleeding affliction and Swarm Feeders.

Usage

Like all Medical Items, Alien Blood can be applied through the Health GUI (Default Key H). See this page for more information on usage.

Alien Blood cannot be loaded into a Syringe Gun, and cannot be swung from the hand. It can only be applied in the Health GUI.

Alien Blood is also used to craft Blood Packs and Europabrew in the Medical Fabricator.
