Psychosis is an Affliction which causes the victim to see or hear things that are not real. Psychosis cannot directly injure crew, although it can distract and cause confusion.


Inflicted by Deliriumine Poisoning, certain Medical Items, being in the vicinity of a Psychosis Alien Artifact, being struck with Dementonite melee weapons, or firing an Alien Pistol.


Can be cured with Haloperidol, and treated to a lesser extent with Cigars and Ethanol.

Psychosis will naturally heal itself at a rate of 0.1 per second.

The patient rants and mutters in an agitated fashion, a steady commentary of unseen events.
