Trivia

  • The crawler is by far the most common creature in the game, as well as one of the least damaging.
  • Their unavoidable nature and low damage often leads submarines to ram into groups of crawlers and "scrape" them off of the sub via vertical movement, before they cause a breach.
  • Groups of crawlers tend to gather in ruts and narrow spaces in submarines' hulls, causing significant collective damage to exterior walls in a small area.
  • Crawlers went through a complete redesign, compared to their Legacy counterpart, which resembled a giant Shrimp
  • The legacy variant of the Crawler can be spawned by the use of Commands or through the Character Editor, see Crawler (Legacy)
