The Fractal Guardian is an European creature. It does not attack submarines but it will attack crew members.

Description

Fractal Guardians have three spike-like limbs that allow it to swim, two on the sides of its head and one at the end of its segmented body, its body consists of four segments, including its head, each segment appears to have two holes on each of them.

So far they've only been encountered alone.

In-game

Fractal Guardians will attack and kill crew members but not submarines

It does not bleed.

If you encounter a Fractal Guardian, it should be pretty easy to kill by just shooting it with the railgun in 2-4 shots.
