"Damage" is an Affliction type that includes 8 afflictions, not to be confused with the affliction Internal Damage, which is only one of the aforementioned 8.
The following afflictions are:
- Bite Wounds
- Blunt Force Trauma
- Concussion
- Deep Tissue Injury
- Gunshot Wound
- Internal Damage
- Lacerations
- Organ Damage
This type is also sometimes referred to in-game as "physical damage". (i.e. "physical resistances" apply to all afflictions of the type "damage").
In Barotrauma's code, these afflictions are defined as type "damage". This allows medicines like Morphine to affect all afflictions at once.
Additionally, when an affliction type is being healed, the healing power will be equally spread out over all current afflictions of that type.
