Calyxanide is a cure for Husk Infection.
Function
Calyxanide acts as a poison for fully husk infected humans and natural Husks. It deals damage in accordance to the figures below.
Internal Damage (+30)* (Husked Humans).
Internal Damage (+40)* (Natural Husks).

Usage
Calyxanide is a useful narcotic for managing husk outbreaks among your crewmates, and is best utilized by the Medical Doctor. On fail, only a maximum of 60% infection can be removed without a second dose, because husk infection is undetectable until it reaches a strength of 20, (40 without the use of a Health Scanner HUD) it could progress beyond a failed injection's strength reduction of 60, requiring the use of either multiple injections of Calyxanide or a second injection of a less potent cure, such as Broad-Spectrum Antibiotics. The cost of Calyxanide is considerable enough that irresponsible use could burn a hole through your crew's pockets very quickly.
Calyxanide will not cure completely husked crew members, and instead causes them to take damage, note that this is not true unless the strength of the husk infection has already reached 100, meaning crew members with the Husk Genetic Material can still be cured as normal, regaining their ability to talk, and losing their husk abilities until they are infected again.
A Syringe Gun can be used to apply Calyxanide at a distance, this is helpful if you are fearful that a crew member might be up to no good or if the patient is already nearing 100% infection.
Trivia
Although the game hints at the fact that the husk parasite never goes away once it has embedded itself into a host, players cured with Calyxanide successfully do not regain Husk Infection until it is triggered again by the use of Velonaceps Calyx Eggs or another cause of the Husk Infection Affliction.
Calyxanide only requires 22 medical skill to create in a Medical Fabricator, it requires 38 Medical Skill to have a 100% success rate.
Injection of Calyxanide into a conscious, natural Husk is described as "pissing it off" in the game's XML.
