Piezo Crystals show up on sonar as a bright ellipsoid, and spawn in clusters against the rock walls in The Great Sea.
Exactly 23 Piezo Crystals will spawn in a level.
Effects
Piezo Crystals will zap a junction box up to 30 meters away, temporarily adding a 500 KW load on that junction box. This effect has a 0.95 s cooldown.
Despite looking dangerous, the periodical discharges do not affect characters.
Destruction
Piezo Crystals have 100 Health and can be damaged by conventional Weapons including explosions and melee weapons, Welding Tools, and Plasma Cutters.
On destruction they explode violently, dealing massive damage in a large radius.
