The Mudraptor Shell is an Outerwear that protects the wearer's torso. It can be dropped by Mudraptors.
Acquisition
The Mudraptor Shell is only obtainable from defeated 
Mudraptors. It has a 6% drop chance.
Function
Compared to the 
Body Armor, the Mudraptor Shell is generally more resilient and provides more types of damage resistances. However, it also slows down the wearer's movement speed by 40%, just like the 
Diving Suit. The Diving Suit offers lower protection values overall, although it covers the entire body, whereas the Mudraptor Shell only covers the torso.

Trivia
- There was a bug within the game that swapped the Mudraptor Shell with the Moloch Shell Fragment. Whilst the items functioned as normal, they were dropped by the incorrect creatures and named incorrectly, effectively turning the Mudraptor Shell into the current Moloch Shell Fragment and vice versa.
