When inside an inventory, the welding fuel tank can be dragged on to a welding tool to attach it. While in use the tank will slowly deplete, the current condition of it can be seen under the item in the player's hotbar.

Description

The Welding Fuel Tank mainly serves as fuel for the Welding Tool, used to weld submarine hull.

It can be bought at most Outposts or crafted.

Function

The Welding Fuel Tank can be inserted into a Welding Tool, Flamer or a Prototype Steam Cannon to be used as a fuel source.

  • If the tank comes into contact with Fire, it will eventually explode.
  • It can be inserted into gear like Diving Suits and Diving Masks in place of the Oxygen Tank, quickly suffocating the person wearing it.
    • It can also be loaded into a Plasma Cutter, which will make it explode (but not be destroyed) when used.
  • When depleted, It can be refilled by combining the empty Welding Fuel Tank and Ethanol in a Fabricator.
