(Updated v0.9.10.0)
The Store is a key feature in Barotrauma's Campaign. It allows players to buy items using Credits earned from successfully completing missions. The initial funding for the crew when starting out is 8,700 Credits and the starting point is always the Colony.
The majority of Barotrauma's items can be bought from the Store, including some alien materials that normally require crew members to retrieve their respective artifacts in order to obtain said materials through deconstruction. Most of the items can also be fabricated on the sub with the proper materials, but some cannot be obtained naturally and are only available in Store.
Outpost
Currently, there are 7 types of accessible Outposts throughout the Map, divided into 2 groups:
The first group, comprised of Colony (City), Habitation Outpost and 3 work camps: Military Outpost, Mining Outpost and Research Outpost, grants the crew access to Store, hireable people and Repair. The second group, made up of Natural Formation and Breeding Grounds, only provides Repair services. Unlike the first group, travelling to these parts proves more dangerous with the increased number of all kinds of aquatic hostiles, especially Breeding Grounds. However, upon successfully reaching and safely docking the Outpost for the first time, Breeding Grounds gets depopulated and becomes Natural Formation. After 2 in-game days (if each trip from one location to another is worth a day), a new Habitation Outpost will be established in its place.
This feature of Outpost switching persists throughout the Campaign. Any location that has been visited at least once periodically establishes a random type of Outposts in the first group, ranging from 4 to 6 days more or less, with the exception of Colony, both naturally spawned and newly established. This could mean once a new city has been established, it will remain so for the rest of the Campaign. In addition, each Outpost offers a wide range of supplies, crew members skilled in different fields for hire and prices that differ from the others depending on its type. So as a general rule of thumb, the crew should plan their next destination accordingly and not stick around in one region for long in case they want to go somewhere prepared and need to purchase certain items for a good price.
Crew
The Crew management tab is where players can look over their employed crew members and the available hireable people. Usually, the kinds of crew members for hire are random in each Outpost, but depending on the type of Outposts, the availability of those people may vary. Generally but not always, it is a guarantee to find Assistants in Colony, Captains in Habitation Outpost, Security Officer in Military Outpost, Engineers and Mechanics in Mining Outpost, Doctors in Research Outpost.
The prices for their employment are proportional to their total levels across all skills, meaning the higher their skills combined are, the more expensive it is to hire them. Players also have the option to fire crew members, effectively removing them from the crew permanently. During expeditions, players can also permanently lose crew members if they happen to die before reaching the next Outpost. In Multiplayer, this feature is disabled and despite still being accessible, the Crew tab always remains empty.
Repair
Every Outpost provides the crew with Repair services for the sub. The services include: Repair All Walls (500 Credits), Repair All Items (500 Credits) and Replace Lost Shuttles (1000 Credits). The prices remain the same across all Outposts. While the Repairing walls and items services are always available, the Replacing lost shuttles service is only purchasable if the current sub has a built in shuttle and lost it.
List of Store items
This list includes all the prices of every purchasable item in different Outposts, plus whether or not an item is only exclusive in Store and not obtainable elsewhere, through Deconstruction or fabricable.
Equipment
Job gears, first aid, weaponry, ammunition, devices and tools are types of items the crew can expect to find while browsing Equipment. Most of these items, even when bought at the lowest price, are still more expensive than the price of their respective components combined. However, there are some items better off being bought instead since their components combined have a higher price, even at their cheapest. This is the only category that offers exclusive items, which are mainly clothing and firepower.

Electrical
Everything an Engineer can dream of having, is all here in Electrical, mostly consisted of wiring components, alarms, detectors and wires. They are all quite cheaper to fabricate than to buy, with the exception of Button, FPGA Circuit and Switch, which should be bought at the cheapest price instead. The Mining Outpost is the only one whose Store does not sell any Electrical.

Material
Most of the components needed to fabricate items for the Mechanics and everything medical such as chemicals for the Doctors can be purchased in Material. Generally, crafting materials can be found and harvested anywhere in Europa's ocean. However, the sources of these are randomized and it can take some time, so it may be better to buy what is needed from the Store to save time since the prices are fairly affordable.

Trivia
- Battery Cell and Oxygen Tank are the only 2 items that appear in more than one category of the Store, with Battery Cell being in Equipment and Eletrical, and Oxygen Tank being in Equipment and Misc.
- For reason unknown, even though the Mining Outpost is often frequented by many Engineers looking for work, its Store has no Electrical for sale.
