Piezo Crystals are environmental objects that drain power from nearby submarines. They will drain the charge from Batteries and Supercapacitors, rendering a submarine vulnerable.

Identification

Piezo Crystals show up on sonar as a bright ellipsoid, and spawn in clusters against the rock walls in the Great Sea Biome.

Effects

Piezo Crystals will zap a junction box up to 30 meters meters away, temporarily adding a 500Kw load on that junction box. This effect has a 1 second cooldown.

Destruction

Piezo Crystals have 100 Health and can be damaged by conventional Weapons, Welding Tools, and Plasma Cutters.

Damage Values

Piezo Crystals explode violently on destruction, dealing massive damage in a large radius.
