The Welding Tool is a handheld tool that can be purchased in Subsurface.
Function
The welding tool is capable of quickly repairing damaged structures, such as walls or windows. It can also be used to seal doors, making them unable to open unless a Plasma Cutter is used.
Usage
The welding tool requires both hands to use. Once equipped, the player can hold down right-click (mouse2) to aim. The welding tool will then angle itself in whatever direction your cursor is currently positioned at. Left-clicking (mouse1) will then activate the tool, affecting any structures that are within its range.

- It is possible to attach an Oxygen Tank to the welding tool. However, it will not work.
