Chemicals

Chemicals come in all shapes and forms in-game, from deadly poisons to stimulants. Most chemicals are made via the Medical Fabricator, although some can be obtained via deconstructing artifacts.

Types of Chemical

Bandage

Though not exactly a chemical, it has effects similar to one, reducing bleeding by 0.1/s over 5 seconds.

Ingredients

Iron Powder

Has no effect when injected.

Chlorine

Causes 0.1 damage/s over 20 seconds when injected.

Ethanol

Slows the player by 20% for 20 seconds when injected or consumed.

Aluminium/Phosphorus

Causes 5 damage instantly when injected.

Flash Powder

Creates an explosion with 0.1 force, 3 stun and 5 damage over a radius of 500 units when destroyed, either by fire or by injection(it is unknown whether the latter case is a bug).

Chloral Hydrate

Causes 5 damage instantly and 10 stun damage when injected.

Sulphuric Acid

Causes 1 damage per second over 60 seconds when injected.

Uranium Powder

Causes 5 damage per second over 60 seconds when injected.

Morbusine

Causes 10 damage per second over 60 seconds when injected.

Veronaceps Calyx Eggs

Sets HuskInfectionState to 0.01 when injected (TODO: test whether this can delay infection if injected once it reaches an advanced state)

Fibrinozine

Auxiliorizine

Heals physical damage by 1/s, oxygen damage by 2/s and bleeding damage by 0.05/s over 60 seconds when injected.

Hyperzine

Increases speed by 50% over 60 seconds when injected.

Calyxanide

Sets HuskInfectionState to 0 when injected.

Liquid Oxygenite

Heals 10 oxygen damage and causes 0.1 physical damage per second over 60 seconds when injected
