The Tiger Thresher is a large fish-like beast that manifests within Barotrauma.
In-game
The tiger thresher is a bus sized predatory beast, that is capable of doing massive damage to a submarine with a single attack. A tiger thresher can be easily killed by a shot to the head from the Railgun. When shot at the body, it will usually take two to three shots, if it does not bleed out.
Trivia
- With three pair of eyes (or eye-like marks) on their head and the same type of tail, tiger threshers and coelanths have a similar appearance that may hint at a taxonomic proximity.
