The hammerheadmatriarch is a large dark red squidlike creature with 4 arms attached to its torso. Unlike its smaller variant the hammerhead it does not attack by ramming the ship. Instead it tries to pierce the ships hull with its sharp talons and will birth several hammerhead spawn in swarms of up to five.

hammerhead spawn can get in the way of coilgun fire and will mostly be there to attack any players who try to approach the matriarch. The spawn aren't capable of damaging the hull. But can deliver some blunt force trauma to divers, thus causing internal damage to the player.
