The Molotov Cocktail is a throwable weapon that can be acquired in Barotrauma.

Function

When tossed, the Molotov Cocktail will detonate upon impact. It will start a large fire in the surrounding area, as well as inflicting Burns to any player or creature within its area of effect. It is recommended to only use them whenever a creature enters the submarine and is at a relatively far distance from the player. A Molotov Cocktail can deal damage to Ballast Flora.

Molotov Cocktails can be acquired from Separatist Outposts, Military Outposts and Colonies, provided the player has at least 50 Reputation with the Jovian Separatists.

Usage

The Molotov Cocktail is held with one hand. As with all weapons and tools, using it is done by holding the Right Mouse Right-click to take aim, then by Left Mouse Left-clicking to shoot/use.
