The Welding Tool is a tool that can be operated in Barotrauma. It is one of the most essential tools, allowing crew members to repair damage to the submarine's walls and hull.
Function
Welding Tools are used to repair structures such as walls and windows. They can also be used to seal doors and hatches. The only way to un-seal a door is by using a Plasma Cutter.
Structures being affected by the welding tool display a colored health bar to reflect their condition. At low health, the bar is red, and changes to green as it is repaired.
Sealing a door will have a grey progress bar that does not change color.
Using a Welding Tool while an Oxygen Tank or Oxygenite Tank is inserted will cause an explosion after a 1-second delay.
Usage
The Welding Tool is held with both hands. As with all weapons and tools, using it is done by holding the 
Right-click to take aim, then by 
Left-clicking to shoot/use.
The flame has a range of 1.5 meters, but it cannot pass through walls.
If a player attempts to use a welding tool without the appropriate skill level, the rate at which structures are repaired will be decreased.
