Mini maps are installations which allow players to quickly ascertain the level of water present in each section of the submarine, which can make attempts to find and fix floodings easier.

Usage

The mini map screen. Note the majority of the sections that are tinted blue, indicating that this particular submarine is almost entirely flooded.

Using a mini map will bring up a schematic of the submarine, in which every area is represented by white-bordered rectangles. The horizontal borders divide each layer of floors, while the vertical borders signify where doors are located.

When a section begins filling with water, the mini map will update to show the level of water in that section, signified by the area filling up with the color blue. They will however not display openings through which the water is flowing from, such as open doors or hull breaches.
