Template:Stub Template:Images needed Mini maps are useful installations allowing one to quickly ascertain the amount of water present in the various sections of the submarine, which can make attempts to fix flooding easier.
Usage
Using a mini map brings up a schematic map of the submarine, in which every isolable sections is represented by a white-bordered rectangle more or less filled with blue depending on how much water is inside.
The mini map's main use is to help locating hull breaches by determining at a glance which sections are flooded. Note that the mini map doesn't display opening allowing water to flow (such as open doors or hull breaches), and that some amount of water in the ballast tanks (where it helps the submarine dives by making it heavier) can be expected.
