The Plasma Cutter is a destructive two-handed tool that can be used in Barotrauma.
Function
Plasma cutters are capable of demolishing structures, such as platforms, walls and windows. This can prove useful in the event of flooding or a creature attack, whereas the player can cut through a door or ceiling to escape. Caution should exercised though, as the item can deteriorate structures quickly, and can cause holes in the submarine's hull, causing floods.
The plasma cutter can also un-seal doors which were sealed by the Welding Tool.
Usage
Plasma cutters require one hand to use. Once equipped, the player can hold down right-click (mouse2) to aim. It will then angle itself in whatever direction your cursor is currently positioned at. Left-clicking (mouse1) and holding will then activate the tool, affecting any structures that are within its range. Structures which are being affected will be highlighted by a rectangle; the color of said rectangle determines the condition of the structure, with a more red color being poor and a greener color being good. When the structure is about to break the rectangle will begin dissipating.
Plasma cutters can also injure other players and creatures, so it is advised that others keep some distance from anyone using the tool. If a player attempts to use a plasma cutter without the appropriate skill level, it will only operate at 1/4th the efficiency.

Trivia
- It is possible to attach a Welding Fuel Tank to the plasma cutter. Though the tool will not function.
