The Peanut is one of the four Pets added in Vanilla 0.10.6.0 as part of the Halloween update: Creepy Creature Feature.
Description
The Peanut appears to be some sort of a small sized slug with a big oval head and a mediocre shell on its back, providing no protection.
Its Halloween outfit is the Dracula costume, consisting of a vampire cape and a wig.
In-game
The Peanut can be played with every 6 seconds. It also has 2 inventory slots that can be accessed when alive and grabbed by the player. If the pet dies, the body will splatter and any contents in its inventory will be destroyed.
When well-fed (0-30% Hunger), the Peanut will start producing some items, most commonly a pile of Poop. At 50% Happiness and beyond, the Pet will produce Mucus Ball. At 80% Happiness and beyond, there is a 30% chance it will lay a Strange Egg.

Trivia
- The Peanut's design appears to be inspired by the SCP-173 from the game SCP - Containment Breach. Not only do they share some similarities in terms of the facial design and skin tone, but the fact that the name "Peanut" is also an alias of SCP-173 as its body structure is very much like a peanut.
