There may be more than a single Logbook inside the wreck, but the location of the correct Logbook containing the encrypted transmission will be marked on the Sonar screen. Bringing the wrong Logbook containing normal messages doesn't count towards the success of the Mission.


The crew will be required to enter and search the sunken Submarine for the Logbook, which will require a [[Diving Suit]] to prevent death from [[Afflictions#Barotrauma|Barotrauma]] and a [[Crowbar]] or a [[Plasma Cutter]] to gain entry. The sunken Submarine will also contain other resources which can be salvaged and used by the crew. It is advised to bring a weapon when entering the sunken vessel as [[Husk]]s and other Creatures can spawn.
