Helmets are designed to protect the wearer's head against blunt, sharp and projectile weapons, and, contrary to what the description implies, creature bites. They come in three types: Ballistic Helmet, Gunner's Helmet, and Riot Helmet.

Function

Security Officers start with one of the Helmets as part of their loadouts.

All types of Helmets are functionally identical. The only differences are their descriptions and sprites.

Protection Values

Listed below are the damage reduction values for each blocked damage type. These values only apply to damage dealt to the head.
