The Hardened Crowbar is a tool which can be acquired in Barotrauma.

Function

Crowbars can be used to force-open locked Doors and Hatches, similarly to the Plasma Cutter, although with out the destruction of the door or hatch.
Unlike plasma cutters, crowbars are much faster and won't destroy the doors upon opening, but are unable to un-seal doors which are welded shut.
It can also be used as a blunt weapon.

Usage

  • Force-opening doors and hatches - Press the "Use" keybind (Default: E) on a door
    • Note: Only doors that the character doesn't have access to can be forced open with a crowbar
  • Attacking - Hold the "Aim" keybind (Default:Right MouseRMB) to ready the crowbar for an attack, then press the "Shoot" keybind (Default:Left MouseLMB) to swing the crowbar.

Damage Values

The attack speed of the Hardened Crowbar is 1.3 times slower than the normal Crowbar.
