A diving suit lets the player breath while underwater, when an oxygen source is placed inside the suit. In addition, the gear also protects the player from the ocean's water pressure, allowing them to swim outside of the [[:Category:Submarines|submarine]] without getting crushed while above abyssal crush depth.

Its an upgrade over the regular {{hl|Diving Suit|25}}, providing stronger protection against many [[Afflictions]], most importantly additional 2000 meters of Pressure Protection, for up to 5750 meters of depth.  It incorporates a built-in light and a breathing gas supply that allows the user to breathe underwater, provided that the breathing supplies are filled. Due to its construction it reduces its user's field of view and muffles certain sounds, but its a lot lighter than its weaker counterpart, only slightly slowing the user down and greatly increasing propulsion of their Scooter Propulsion Speed.  


Players wearing Combat Diving Suits move 5% slower and have greatly reduced field of view. Combat Diving Suits boost the thrust of {{hl|Underwater Scooter}}s by 40%

The Combat Diving Suit is an Outerwear in Barotrauma.

Description

The Combat Diving Suit is a protective and pressure resistant Outerwear piece. Its an upgrade over the regular Diving Suit, providing stronger protection against many Afflictions, most importantly additional 2000 meters of Pressure Protection, for up to 5750 meters of depth. It incorporates a built-in light and a breathing gas supply that allows the user to breathe underwater, provided that the breathing supplies are filled. Due to its construction it reduces its user's field of view and muffles certain sounds, but its a lot lighter than its weaker counterpart, only slightly slowing the user down and greatly increasing propulsion of their Scooter Propulsion Speed.

It can be crafted by anyone or bought at some Outposts with a Minimum Level Difficulty of 35%.
