First Aid

The first aid menu is displayed by hitting the default key binding “H” while in character mode.

On the first aid display, afflictions affecting the character are shown in the list to the left, although some afflictions are local to specific limbs. You can inspect different limbs by clicking on them.

To treat an affliction, drag a medical item onto the highlighted area or double click on a medical item in the hot bar with the damaged limb selected. Suggested items are shown in the interface, but caution must be exercised, since some characters’ medical skills aren’t high enough to suggest the correct treatment.

Medical items function as items which can support the player in a variety of different ways. See Chemicals for a full list of items and status effects.
