First Aid
The first aid menu is displayed by hitting the default key binding “H” while in character mode.
On the first aid display, afflictions affecting the character are shown in the list to the left, although some afflictions are local to specific limbs. You can inspect different limbs by clicking on them.
To treat an affliction, drag a medical item onto the highlighted area or double click on a medical item in the hot bar with the damaged limb selected. Suggested items are shown in the interface, but caution must be exercised, since some characters’ medical skills aren’t high enough to suggest the correct treatment.
Medical items function as items which can support the player in a variety of different ways.

| Antirad | Slows down cellular degradation caused by radiation. |
| Blood Pack | A pack of blood substitute for the treatment of blood loss. |
| Broad-spectrum Antibiotics | A mild antibiotic that acts against a wide range of disease-causing bacteria, though with the side effect of internal damage. Used as an ingredient in many compounds. |
| Calyxanide | An antiparasitic drug used in the treatment of husk parasite infections. Might require higher dosage to cure the infection at later stages. |
| Chlorine | Most commonly used in saline, a common treatment for blood loss, and chloracne hydrate, a powerful sedative. |
| Choral Hydrate | A sedative that can be used to knock someone out for a short period of time. |
| Cyanide Antidote | An antidote for acute cyanide poisoning. |
| Deliriumine Antidote | An antidote for acute deliriumine poisoning. |
| Fentanyl | A powerful opiate for treating pain associated with internal injuries, but will cause shortness of breadth and eventual dependency with overuse. |
| Haloperidol | A strong antipsychotic drug. |
| Morbusine Antidote | An antidote for acute morbusine poisoning. |
| Morphine | A powerful opiate for treating pain associated with internal injuries, but will cause shortness of breath and eventual dependency with overuse. |
| Naloxone | An opioid antagonist for the treatment of opiate-based withdrawal and overdose. |
| Saline | A sodium chloride infusion mildly useful in the treatment of blood loss. |
| Stabilozine | Used as an ingredient in the manufacture of various medicines. On its own, can be mildly useful in the treatment of internal damage and burns, and slightly more effective for oxygen deprivation. |
