"Creature" is a catch-all term for the varied fauna lurking in Europa's sea.
While their behaviour may vary depending on their species, creatures tend to be harmful to the crew and submarine and act as antagonists that can be randomly encountered in-game; they can also be part of a mission objective, as a target or guardian of a target.
A list of creatures mass can be found at Creatures.
When killed, creatures can be looted for various materials by grabbing the body (Default keybind 'G'). Some examples are:
- Many creatures will yield Alien Blood which can be turned into Blood Packs
- Mudraptors will yield Hydroxyapatite and sometimes Mudraptor Shell or Mudraptor Egg
- Hammerheads can yield a Swim Bladder which deconstructs to Stabilozine and Saline for making antidotes
- Husks can drop a Husk Stinger, a weak melee weapon
A full list of creature drops can be found at Creature Loot.
