The aquatic poppy is a raw material found on rocks throughout Europa. It does not appear inside caves.

Function and Usage

An aquatic poppy can be deconstructed into 3 Opium, which can then be further refined into more advanced medications such as Morphine and then Fentanyl. Or, alternatively, the Opium can be used directly to heal Damage and, to a very small extent, Burns.

Acquisition

The aquatic poppy can be found growing on the cavern wall throughout the seas of Europa in clusters of 3-6, and usually alongside other plants. They do not grow in caves. Picking up an aquatic poppy takes 5 seconds, and requires no tools.

Since plants do not appear on the sonar or via the mineral scanner, the best way to reliably find them is to scan the rock walls using a periscope connected to a camera, searchlight, or the ship's weaponry.
